We’re going up to the farm for a couple of days and while that means cleaning up from the winter and shoveling out dead mice (probably) it’s still an escape.
No Internet; intermittent cell phone usage unless I stand on the southwest corner of the old house; six miles from the nearest paved road.
Tallgrass prairie. Quiet. Outrageous sunsets stretching unobstructed across the western horizon. Stars unobstructed from horizon to horizon. Wind. Bird calls. And sausage and eggs for breakfast.
.
ahhhhhhhhh sounds good
Yes. It will be….. after the removal of dead mice etc.
Sort of like St. Mary’s County minus the river. Oh. And the big house overlooking the river.
Thanks so much for including me on your blog! You do your own great work with photos. I’m honored you chose mine.
Thanks for the ping! I got to see your caterpillar-cum-butterfly photos. I’d sure like to see one emerging sometime.
Thanks so much for the ping! I’m honored. I may have to come find that castle. Now there’s an escape….
Sounds like splendor. Enjoy!
Splendor…. well, once the cleaning is done, it is that. Thanks!
